According to a recent license application, V. Sattui Winery is contracting ChandlerWorkshop Architects to construct two new commercial buildings, a $6,949,530 job, at 1111 White Lane in Saint Helena. The request with Napa County has been pending approval since December 5.
At its address on White Lane, V. Sattui Winery currently operates a tasting room, artisan deli, and marketplace. According to its website, the deli serves picnic plates like sandwiches, panini, salads, pasta, and other “specialty items” that are made fresh daily. The team shares, “we make our own charcuterie in our salumeria which pairs with any of our 200 different cheeses, and fresh fruits” and guests are encouraged to try house-made desserts such as tiramisu, crème brûlée, seasonal fruit tarts, and Italian-style gelato and sorbet. Last but not least, the deli also serves house-cured bresaola by Michelin-starred chef Stefano Masanti.
On the weekends, guests have the option to enjoy lunch from the Saturday V. Sattui Food Truck, expanding the winery’s food menu to include grilled seasonal entrees, salads, pizzas, truffle parmesan fries, and “a plethora” of fresh-baked cookies, cannoli, and Tiramisu.
The deli and marketplace are open daily, except for Christmas Day, from 9:30 am to 5 pm and the truck is open from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm (weather permitting) on weekends. Once guests have chosen their food and wine, they can choose from more than two acres of “shaded picnic grounds surrounded by giant oak trees, flowers, and vineyards,” available to patrons from 9 am to 7 pm.
