The bakery, known for providing a variety of classic donuts and pastries, is coming to 1720 Polk Street — taking over a space formerly home to Lotta’s Bakery, near eateries such as El Captian Taqueria, Korean Soul Kitchen, and Thai Spice.
According to a recent article by the San Francisco Chronicle, the new shop will operate alongside the concept’s existing location at 1621 Polk Street.
“Bob’s will begin renovations of the second space, but won’t move in until as late as 2025. The team may operate both locations simultaneously,” it shares.
For readers unfamiliar with the business, Bob’s has operated on Polk Street since 1960.
“Usual Suspects” on the Bob’s Donuts menu include classics like raised glazed, raised maple, chocolate cake with sprinkles, and cinnamon cake donuts, in addition to pastries like apple fritters, butter croissants, and cinnamon rolls.
