The upcoming cafe will land next to establishments like The Red Tail Beer & Wine Bar, The Yellow Submarine, Foghorn Taproom, and Loving Hut Vegan Restaurant.

Co-owner Sam Butarbutar recently told SFGATE that the opening has “been delayed by the health department and construction material delays,” but that he hopes to have the business open before the end of the year.

In addition to its original outpost in Berkeley, Third Culture Bakery has existing cafes in San Francisco and Walnut Creek. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Irving Street bakery’s menu will resemble the one offered at the Berkeley location, centering mochi and matcha pastries.

What Now San Francisco was unable to contact a Third Culture Bakery representative before publication.
