Erika and Chad Harris, co-owners of Jack’s Filling Station and Lou’s Luncheonette, have applied for an on-sale general eating place license and a caterer permit for a new address. The application has been pending since December 2 for a space at 401 Grove Street in Sonoma, and the name of the eatery is listed as 401 Grove and Co.
The address was previously home to Reel & Brand — which has been closed since November “due to staffing issues,” according to an article by Sonoma News — and restaurants in the vicinity include Delicious Dish, Harvey’s Gourmet Donuts, Juanita Juanita, and Picazo Cafe.
The forthcoming 401 Grove and Co. will mark the Harris’s third Sonoma-based business. At 899 Broadway, the couple owns Jack’s Filling Station, “a gas station that specializes in craft beer, natural wine, vinyl, gift shop, [and] gas at good prices.” They also co-founded Lou’s Luncheonette, a sit-down breakfast and lunch restaurant with a “menu consisting of deli breakfast, fried chicken, burgers, barbecue, salads, milkshakes, beer, and wine.”
401 Grove and Co.’s cuisine and opening date, among other pertinent details, have not yet been announced. What Now San Francisco could not contact a company representative by the time of publication.
