Co-owner Allan Chan tells What Now Sacramento that he and his business partner Chris Quach had “contemplated joining an existing franchise but decided to start their own” — resulting in Boomba Tea, which is opening its flagship location in Folsom before summer.

According to the report, locals will be able to choose from standard tapioca boba, brown sugar boba, and other “flavored popping jellies” — as well as have the option to top the teas off with “creme brulee” or “cheese foam.”

Food options will range from ramen to spam musubi and popcorn chicken.

What Now San Francisco contacted Chan to inquire about the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

The eatery’s address and anticipated opening date have not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
