According to a recent permit application, the drinkery is coming to 1548 California Street, near the brunch restaurant Mymy, Souvenir Coffee, and Swan Oyster Depot.

For readers who are unfamiliar, Macondray is known as “a chic cocktail den with highbrow bar bites, including oysters & New England-inspired seafood” — and Passetti, in addition to owning Café Terminus, also operates House of Shields and Natoma Cabana.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the pair to inquire about their plans for Zhuzh Bar, but they were unable to provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for updates.
