“We’re very excited to continue expanding our footprint in the Bay Area with the launch of our San Bruno location,” stated Jon Goldsmith, CEO and co-founder of Local Kitchens in a statement. “San Bruno’s growing community of businesses and families aligns perfectly with our unique model of offering a wide variety of options for lunch and dinner in a takeout friendly style. Whether it’s a busy family looking for a meal everyone can agree on or coworkers out for a group lunch, we’re looking forward to serving some incredible food and joining San Bruno as the newest addition to their neighborhood.”

“We’re thrilled to have Local Kitchens in our community and are looking forward to partnering with them for the 2024 season,” stated Glen Wilson, San Bruno Youth Baseball President. “Prior to the opening of their new restaurant in San Bruno, we were contacted by Local Kitchens who offered their support for our program. Their mix of different restaurant options means they can feed a whole team of picky eaters after games. We’re looking forward to it being a great destination to invite our families to for future fundraisers.”

Local Kitchens collaborates with distinguished chefs and restaurants to learn their recipes, allowing them to carry that expertise through to every dish on the menu. Their culinary team, led by Matthew Rudofker, previously the Executive Chef of Michelin Starred restaurant Momofuku, brings decades of experience in culinary research and development.

“Local Kitchens approached us at the height of the pandemic with a new way for us to expand our business,” said Ari Feingold, Owner of Proposition Chicken. “We began in a single location where Jon and Munday themselves were running much of the operations. Fast forward a few years to today and Proposition Chicken can now be found in nine local kitchens locations with the opening of San Bruno. We’ve even recently rolled out a brand new menu in collaboration with their culinary team. It’s tasty, it’s modern, it’s really exciting, and I can’t wait for San Bruno to get the opportunity to try it.”
