According to an on-sale beer and wine license application, George’s Fine Catering and Events LLC is opening a restaurant at 750 2nd Street Unit C. Established eateries in the vicinity include Momo’s, SAJJ Meditteranean, Birdbox, and Merkado.
While the name of the restaurant isn’t listed, owner George Hawawini shares on the company website, which is still under construction, “George’s Fine Catering and Events, through its various brands, has been providing food and beverage service for more than 25 years throughout the Bay Area.”
Hawawini’s current and past corporate clients include Salesforce, Walmart, and Shutterfly are listed. He has serviced events for notable individuals like NFL star Charles Woodson and former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom.
