Coming to 1807 Euclid Avenue, the coffee shop will soon neighbor eateries such as Bongo Burger, El Talpense Mexican, and Stuffed Inn sandwich shop.

Known for its Yemeni lattes and desserts such as honeycomb bread, Owner Majed Jahamee tells What Now San Francisco that at the upcoming location “something special,” a new drink, will be added to the menu — and that Delah will be “the first Yemeni coffee shop in the Bay Area to have it.”

Delah Coffee currently has two locations in the Bay Area, one in San Francisco and another in Oakland. While details aren’t yet secured, Jahamee says that in the future he plans to also expand to Santa Clara.

Concerning Jahamee’s rationale for bringing Delah to Berkeley, he shares that he decided to expand to better serve the UC Berkeley population that currently commutes to Delah in San Francisco.

Delah Coffee in Berkeley is slated to open in early September.
