An exciting new yogurt shop is slated to come to Walnut Creek’s Rossmoor Shopping Center later this year.
Dubbed Yogurt Spot, the new shop is a brand new concept from founders Heather and Aron Rice, who recently secured the lease at 1980 Tice Valley Boulevard, Building 3. Featuring over 1,100 square feet of space, the location is conveniently placed between a Starbucks and Burgerim.
The opening of Yogurt Spot is part of a larger redevelopment effort from Rossmoor Retail Partners, who have steadily been adding more and more restaurants and shops to the center. Envisioning an outdoor food court that is easily walkable, the team has been hard at work trying to revitalize the shopping center. The building that Yogurt Spot is set to occupy previously sat on the market for 31 months, which is a healthy sign that things are turning around for a community so beleaguered by the effects of the pandemic.
As life begins to flow again through Walnut Creek, Heather and Aron want to be there to lighten our spirits with a much-needed sweet treat. Their new full-service frozen yogurt shop will offer five machines with 10 different flavors as well as a selection of toppings. They will also be offering premium gelato and shaved ice, ensuring that the shop has a little something for everybody.
According to Aron, he and Heather are hoping to have the Yogurt Spot open by the end of Fall. At the moment, they are still finalizing the details of their vision.
