Marin county-based cupcake shop Baked Blooms is headed down the road to San Rafael. Owner and expert baker Sarah Thongnopneua has been baking her signature bouCAKES (cupcakes designed to look like a bouquet of flowers) out of her home in San Anselmo, and recently announced on Facebook that she’s officially outgrown her kitchen.

Her new spot, at 2100 4th Street, was once the home of lunch catering spot Nelly. For now, the bakery will remain a pre-order operation, but Thongnopneua hasn’t ruled out other future possibilities.

While Thongnopneua won’t be baking at “home” any longer, you can expect the same baked-from-scratch, intricately designed cupcake bouquets at the new spot.

No opening date has been announced, but Thongnopneua has the keys in hand, so check out the Baked Blooms Facebook and Instagram pages for updates.
