“It’ll take over an 8,300-square-foot street-level space on the northwest corner of Visa’s new global and North American headquarters building,” the report shares, adding that local concepts Arsicault Bakery and Quick Dog will also join the upcoming development.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Mission Rock, the project describes itself as “an inclusive community that combines an imaginative, eclectic array of shops, cafes and festivals; a launchpad for local producers, makers and creators; and innovative workplaces, affordable and market-rate homes, and social amenities,” on its website — and is backed by the San Francisco Giants, Tishman Speyer, and the Port of San Francisco.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Matt Brewer and Chef David Nayfeld, who founded Back Home Hospitality in 2015, to inquire about the upcoming eatery, but they could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, SF Eater shares that the yet-to-be-named concept is slated to open in 2025. Stay tuned for updates.
