“A modern American-Italian restaurant hasn’t been done in the caliber that we’re hoping to do it in San Jose and even beyond the South Bay,” Chief Executive Officer at Left Bank Brasserie, Obadiah Ostergard, tells San Francisco Business Times.
Landing at 181 East Santa Clara Street, the eatery will soon neighbor establishments such as Con Azucar Cafe, Kronos Mediterranean, and Lee’s Sandwiches.
Obadiah describes Rollati as a “love letter to Italian-American cuisine” that will offer house-made pasta and Italian dishes, with Concept Chef Sam Gimlewicz and Chef de Cuisine Christian Luxton behind the menu, and Serena Harkey crafting the beverage program.
According to the Business Times, the 7,000 square foot space will be able to seat 189 guests, offering a bar, an indoor dining room, and a lounge, as well as a provisions market and outdoor space.
An exact opening date has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for additional updates.
