Locals and visitors alike give the restaurant near-sparkling reviews and luckily, they don’t need to worry about losing this Marin County gem. New owner Alejandro Cano ensures that Two Bird Café will remain relatively the same for the time being and that the transition in ownership should not see any major changes to the restaurant for another few months.

They will close on December 21st and reopen in January – still as Two Bird Café. Cano clarifies that they are currently working on a new name and minor menu changes – including the addition of dinner service – but in the meantime they will serve the same delicious breakfast and lunch that put them on the map.

Two Bird Café was founded by Chef Tony Miceli nearly forty years ago. For all these years, the family-owned restaurant focused on serving seasonally-driven menus with locally sourced ingredients, some of which come straight from the backyard garden. Those who are especially charmed by the café are welcome to book a stay at the neighboring Valley Inn for a truly rustic experience. For more information, visit www.twobirdcafe.com.
