Born and raised in San Francisco’s Bayview district, Chef Carter brings her take on a gourmet hot dog stand to the Ferry Building, the very place that inspired her to become a chef and enroll in culinary school in the first place. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and proud mother, Chef Carter brings determination, passion, and love to her gourmet offerings at Palmvy. With Chef Carter’s background as part of La Cocina’s Municipal Marketplace, America’s first women-led food hall, Palmvy will celebrate the unique California culture of excellence in food. Alongside sustainable hot dogs, Palmvy offers fresh seafood salads, veggie dogs, individualized toppings and a tropical juice bar.

“Every iconic city has its own hot dog and at Palmvy, we want to claim the San Francisco hot dog, which changes seasonally and is always fresh,” said Tiffany Carter, founder in a statement. “I’m passionate about my city and its food scene and I want to offer approachable, affordable, and high quality street food that represents who we are.”

At Palmvy, the sustainable, humane-raised beef hot dogs (which contain no nitrates or by-products), chicken artisan dogs, and veggie dogs can be customized with two complimentary toppings, from local heirloom tomatoes, to champagne dill mustard, to verde salsa and more. Palmvy also offers a selection of salads, featuring a greek salad or a caesar salad. You can also choose to enjoy grilled corn elote or dungeness crab nachos. To complement these dishes, Palmvy’s juice bar serves a premium, curated selection of cold beverages, including lavender lemonade, strawberry juice, and Mexican coke. Patrons will also have the option to pick from a diverse selection of unique grab-and-go options, including charcuterie, Jamón, tin fish, artisanal popcorn and more.

“We extend a warm welcome to Chef Tiffany and the Palmvy team as they join our community of exceptional merchants at the Ferry Building during this time. We can’t wait for our patrons to have the opportunity to enjoy this exciting culinary venture,” states Jane Connors, General Manager at the Ferry Building.

Palmvy’s prime location at Suite K5 at the Ferry Building will be open Monday-Saturday, 11:00 am-5:00 pm.
