Coming to 3600 16th Street, moving into a space formerly occupied by Bonita Taqueria y Rotisserie, the eatery will land near Lookout, Super Duper Burgers, and Taco Boys.
“The San Francisco location’s menu will be ‘near-identical’ to what’s offered at the original outpost, though Padilla says he plans to add fish and carnitas tacos,” Eater shares.
The description continues, “And though the restaurant won’t have a full liquor license, expect ‘beer, micheladas, and low-ABV margaritas in flavors like cucumber and tamarind.'”
For readers who are unfamiliar with the dining concept, Tacos El Tucan was founded in Richmond in 2019 and has become known for its Tijuana-style tacos.
Tacos El Tucan on 16th Street is slated to open in May. Follow the concept on Facebook for updates.
