The founders of ROOH, a “sophisticated bistro serving playful cocktails and modern Indian fare with California accents,” are introducing a new concept, Fitoor, at San Jose’s Santana Row.
Taking over Suite 1140, Fitoor — which “means ‘passion’ in Arabic and Hindi” — will be “an Indian grill and lounge whose food, cocktails, music and decor evoke the vibrancy and energy of today’s India in the heart of Santana Row,” according to the Santana Row website.
“Our investment in the vibrant culinary landscape of San Francisco is a testament to the unwavering potential and bright prospects that the Bay Area holds. In the face of challenging times, we believe in the resilience and spirit of this community and we’re proud to be a part of its future,” Vikram Bhambri, Co-Founder, shares in a recent press release.
On the menu, patrons can expect a selection of “food gems from various regions in India, using local and seasonal California ingredients” and “a list of show-stopping cocktails with dramatic flourishes.”
As far as ambiance is concerned, envision “a sultry, luxe atmosphere, create an immersive experience that engages all senses.”
While we know that the business has already filed for its alcohol licensing, an opening date has not yet been announced.
