Prik Hom is a new Thai restaurant currently planned for San Francisco. It will be located at 3226 Geary Blvd., where it recently applied for a beer and wine license takeover from Derm Restaurant. Owner Thanyaporn Sunanpanya did not have many details to disclose at this time regarding Prik Hom, other than the fact that she hopes to open by the end of this year.
While also being a Thai restaurant, Derm was a popular brunch spot in Laurel Heights. From their benedicts and soufflé pancakes, to Soft Shell Crab Burgers and Pad Se Ew, Derm had everything you needed to satisfy whatever you were craving.
While Derm was in operation just this past May, Yelpers report that this restaurant closed earlier this month. We’ll have to wait and see what Prik Hom has in store for the space in the future; whether they will also offer brunch or focus solely on Thai cuisine. Stay tuned.
