According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery listed as The Grill at The Plaza is coming to Walnut Creek.
Taking over a spot at 1387 Locust Street, the restaurant will land near establishments such as Fuego Tequila Grill, San Francisco Creamery, and Torsap Thai Kitchen.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Jeffrey Dudum, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, Dudum is also the owner of Rooftop Restaurant & Bar at 1500 Mt. Diablo Boulevard — a “well-heeled New American eatery & cocktail lounge with a lively rooftop terrace open rain or shine,” according to its Google Business page — which might provide some insight as to what locals can expect.
An opening date has not been announced yet so stay tuned for updates.
