At 528 Washington Street, Verjus is a neighbor to establishments such as the fine dining spot Bix, the Italian eatery Cotogna, and Wayfare Tavern.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Verjus, before closing four years ago, it was “known for its vintage Spanish and Parisian vibes, extensive natural wine and vinyl collections, and conserva bar,” says Eater.

The article continues, “A Verjus spokesperson dropped a few more hints… saying that though the team is ‘making nuanced changes to the space and menu,’ the wine bar will largely be ‘Verjus as you remember it.’”

What Now San Francisco reached out to Lindsay Tusk to inquire about the upcoming spot, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Verjus is slated to open in October. Stay tuned for updates.
