According to Berkeleyside, no one was injured and the incident, which occurred on October 15, is currently under investigation.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Charming Fig, its shop at 1510 Holmes Street boasted a cheese counter where customers could create their own cheeseboards or build their own picnic boxes before heading into Livermore Valley wine country.

Additionally, Charming Fig frequently used the 2,575 square-foot space to host events, ranging from wine and paint nights to cooking classes.

A reopening date has not been announced yet, so follow Charming Fig on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
