Bar at Osito is likely to offer a revamped menu of handcrafted cocktails and a curated wine list to accompany its Californian-coast-inspired menu. However, specific details regarding the rebrand have not yet been unveiled to the public from the Osito team. The announcement was originally made in an email sent to Osito patrons.

Located in the popular Mission District at 2875 18th Street, Osito is helmed by chef and owner Seth Stowaway, who opened the concept in 2021. Ositio is reportedly the first restaurant in San Francisco to feature a 100% live fire-based tasting menu.

Stowaway serves Osito guests in an intimate setting, as the restaurant only seats 26 people at one large communal table. The ambiance of the interior provides a warm and rustic vibe due to the floor-to-ceiling wood paneling and nature-inspired decor. Menu items rotate often, though some of the previous dinner services have included locally sourced squab with chestnut sticky rice, dried shrimp, shiitake mushroom, Chinese bacon, and bok choy.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Stowaway for additional comment but did not immediately receive a response by the time of publication. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements on Osito’s Instagram page.
