The company’s president, Jim Brooks, tells SFGate, “Despite everybody’s assumption, we did not buy it only because of In-N-Out burger,” adding, “It was really more of a tourist-dominated property and a great location.”

While In-N-Out may not have been the property’s main attraction, Brooks insinuates that the company plans to expand the eatery’s square footage.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some expansion of their common area,” he says — “[In-N-Out] didn’t drive all economics for the acquisition, but it contributed to it given their track record there.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with BH Properties, the development company is based in Los Angeles and has properties across the country, especially in the southwest.

When the renovations will begin and how they will affect In-N-Out’s business hours haven’t been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
