According to a recently submitted permit application, Yerba Buena’s Indian eatery Chaat Corner plans to debut a new location in the neighborhood.
Coming to 1140 Folsom Street, the restaurant will land near Basil Thai Restaurant & Bar, Cat Club, and Rocco’s Cafe. However, with the new address just down the street from its existing spot at 320 3rd Street, it’s unclear whether the upcoming outpost will replace the previous one or serve as a second location.
What Now San Francisco spoke briefly with Chaat Corner’s owner, Chito Saha, who confirmed the address but could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Chaat Corner introduces itself as an Indian food experience that offers Indian and Pakistani lunch and dinner dishes.
