Rapidly growing bagel chain Boichik Bagels is expanding in the Bay Area — planning to finally debut in San Francisco, according to the San Francisco Business Times.

The business is gearing up to open three new locations: one in Lower Pacific Heights at 1946 Fillmore Street, where it will take over a space formerly home to Blaze Teriyaki; one at 22 Battery Street in the Financial District; and another in Laurel Heights at 3665 Sacramento Street.
For readers unfamiliar with Boichik, the Berkeley-based bagel shop — owned by entrepreneur Emily Winston — is known for its vegan, kosher, New York-style bagels, which many deem the best in the Bay Area.In addition to bagels and spreads, the menu boasts paninis, smoked fish sandwiches, and chopped salads.
