A New Japanese Eatery Is Coming to Burlingame

Chad and Monica Kaneshiro, the restaurateurs behind the now-shuttered brunch restaurant Morning Wood, are planning to debut a new concept in Burlingame.
The concept first opened in Silicon Valley five years ago and has since expanded to Danville, Fremont, Modesto, Oakland, San Jose, and Stockton.
The concept will open beer gardens in Downtown Walnut Creek and in Davis.
Chef Nick Ronan is opening a restaurant called Brigitte Bistro, according to a recently submitted permit application.
Taking over the former Rooz Cafe space at 1918 Park Boulevard, the eatery will land near Admas Ethiopian and Eritrean Restaurant, Markato, and Woody's Cafe.
Coming to 2000 Kala Bagai Way, Cholita Linda will land near Blue Bottle Coffee, Comal, and IPPUDO Berkeley.
