Franchisee Henry Halloum — who will operate the outpost alongside his wife Salwa Halloum — tells What Now San Francisco that the business will be taking over the 450-square-foot Space 26, neighbor to Miller & Lux restaurant.

“It is the fifth new food tenant on the way in recent months after Che Fico Pizzeria; Burma Love spinoff Kayah; Filipino fusion chain Señor Sisig; and Fikscue Craft BBQ,” the Business Times reports.

For readers who are unfamiliar with The Baked Bear, the business debuted in San Diego in 2013 and “offers over a dozen baked-from-scratch original-recipe cookies and ice cream flavors, giving guests a chance to mix and match cookies or brownies for their top and bottom while choosing their favorite ice cream in the middle,” according to its website.

“Thrive City will be its third location in San Francisco after Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach near the corner of Columbus and Broadway,” the Business Times shares.

The Baked Bear is slated to open in early 2025. Stay tuned for updates.
