Blondie’s Pizza is coming soon to Westfield San Francisco Centre, according to a building permit filed with the City of San Francisco. The pizza shop is taking over the food court space that was previously Pasta Moto.
Representatives for the mall confirm that construction is underway and Blondie’s will likely open in Q1 of 2022. Based on the previous tenants of the space, it will be an easy transition for Blondie’s Pizza. It’s safe to assume that Blondie’s will serve a variety of pizzas, but we are left to wonder if the menu will include other Italian fare as well.
It is unclear if this is the same Blondie’s Pizza from Powell Street that closed permanently back in 2016. The restaurant back then was known as a tourist trap, but reliable for locals hankering for a quick slice of pizza. In any case, What Now San Francisco has attempted contact with the owners, but has yet to receive a response at the time of publication.
