Temaki Bar is a Japanese restaurant coming up at 5657 Snell Ave. For now, the tentative opening plan is December this year

“It will mainly serve sushi handrolls, different appetizers and will have a fairly simple menu,” said the owner Lam Van Nguyen.

Referring to Temaki Bar as an Omakase, meaning a curated fine-dining restaurant experience, Nguyen said that it is his first venture as a restauranteur.

Apart from food, the place will also be serving beer on the tap and a wide selection of sake.

The restaurant is inspired by the owner’s love for Japanese food. “Why did I decide to open this place? I just love sushi!” said Nguyen.
