Tandoori Pizza is opening a new location at 3227 S White Rd. in San Jose. The 3,300 square-foot space was formerly a Pizza Hut, so it does not need to undergo a full build-out. However, franchise owner Tejinder Singh confirms that the space is still in its early planning stages and will likely open early 2022.

Tandoori Pizza is known for serving up Indian-inspired flavors on a familiar dish that everyone knows and loves. Many customers often find their new favorite pizza flavors such as Curry Chicken, Chili Paneer, and Chicken Tikka. Of course, the restaurant offers traditional pizza flavors for those who love the classics. They are also known for their Tandoori Wings and cheese sticks.

Tandoori Pizza’s San Ramon location was previously reported earlier this year, which only evidences the franchise’s growing success. While preparation on the San Jose location is just getting started, Singh plans to open a Sunnyvale location in just a month, in addition to several other stores throughout the Bay Area.

The business grew out of Singh’s passion for combining the bold Indian flavors and traditional pizza he grew up with. He began making fusion pies and serving them at family parties. It wasn’t long before they became a staple at parties, where friends and relatives encouraged him to turn his creation into a business. To this day, his business is as strong as ever and shows no signs of stopping.
