Tala Drzewiecki tells What Now San Francisco that her business Tala Wine Co. — known for offering a “thoughtfully curated selection of natural wines with easy delivery” in the Bay Area — has found a brick-and-mortar spot. According to a pending on-sale beer and wine license application, the wine shop will settle into a space at 4625 Mission Street, joining neighborhood establishments like Ally’s Pies, Double Shot Coffee, and Excelsior Coffee.

Drzewiecki shares on the Tala Wine Co. website, “I seek out producers who are transparent about their farming and production practices. I source wine only from those who are working with organic fruit, dry farming when possible, fermenting with ambient/native yeast, and vinifying without unnecessary additives or mechanical processing.” Her selection has historically been available for delivery via subscription or a la carte, but the option to drink and purchase in person seems to be just around the corner.
An opening date for the upcoming shop in Excelsior hasn’t been announced yet, but follow Tala Wine Co. on Instagram for future updates.
