Coming to 737 Irving Street, taking over the former home of Fresca Restaurant, the eatery will land near establishments such as Arizmendi Bakery, Crepevine Restaurants, and Tartine Inner Sunset.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the Vice President of Operations at Super Duper Burgers, Edmundo Onas, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers unfamiliar with the concept, Super Duper opened its first location in 2010 in San Francisco’s Castro District and is “100% locally owned and operated in the Bay Area,” according to its website.
The site statement continues, “We chose to only expand in the Bay Area for a reason: We believe in the superior quality that comes from working with the small, local, organic farmers and independent artisans around here, and we love supporting our neighborhood in any way we can.”
There are now 17 locations throughout San Francisco, East Bay, Marin County, Napa, and South Bay.
Super Duper Burgers on Irving is slated to open later this fall. Stay tuned for updates.
