Split is coming to Oakland at 2301 Broadway, according to a recent report in Oaklandside. Oakland locals who are privy to Split’s successful locations in Russian Hill and SoMa no longer have to cross the bridge to get a taste of some “finger-licking real food.”

Split’s Oakland outpost is scheduled to open in mid-January 2022, taking over the space that was previously home to Dosa by Dosa, the fast-casual upscale Indian spot that did not make it out of the initial phases pandemic. In any case, Split is sure to see a lot of business at the corner of 23rd and Broadway.
Customers can look forward to breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus that are currently in the process of being expanded. Better yet, this new location will serve house-made cocktails, adult slushies, beer, and wine, which isn’t something we see at the current San Francisco locations. From perfectly crispy fried chicken sandwiches, premium burgers, and toothsome chef salads, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
Split is a sister restaurant of the build-your-own salad chain Mixt, both a part of Good Food Guys Hospitality Group. They were founded by Leslie and David Silverglide, who confirmed these details with What Now San Francisco. For more information, visit www.spliteats.com.
Correction: An earlier version of this article stated that the Silverglides could not be reached for comment. They’ve since been in touch to confirm the details of their newest Split location.
