Souvla notes that this upcoming location is likely to open in June. They plan to serve their delicious rotisserie-roasted pork, chicken, and lamb wrapped in fresh pita bread, plus other menu favorites. “We’re also giving you a wider taste of Greece with an extended by-the-glass menu of Greek wines, plus some traditional Greek mezé to enjoy with them,” Souvla writes in their announcement.

Founder Charles Bililies tells San Francisco Chronicle that the expansion includes a 10-seat marble bar serving Greek wines by the glass, plus new menu items such as spinach hand pies and tzatziki served with pita and plant-based lamb meatballs. This location will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This news comes on the heels of Souvla’s plans for Larkspur, where they are opening a spacious patio dining space at Marin Country Mart later in the summer. Until these new locations are open, you can get a taste of Souvla in Hayes Valley, NoPa, the Mission and the Marina.
