Sons of Liberty Alehouse might be headed for Livermore, according to a pending ABC license found in state public records. If the rumors are true, the San Leandro tavern will take over the former Rusty’s Bar & Grill at 2327 First St. in downtown Livermore.
Co-owner Thomas Lawrie did not deny the expansion via text message with What Now San Francisco, but otherwise was unable to provide further comment at the time of publication. He mentioned that he was in Nashville at the time to begin buildout of a location there also.
Sons of Liberty Alehouse has been around since 2015, known in downtown San Leandro as a stylish hangout serving seasonal dishes alongside a unique selection of craft beers, artisan cocktails & distinctive wines.
They serve up Thursday Night Specials such as Smoked Brisket and Grilled Wild Cod Tacos. Their drink menu includes curious cocktails such as Furious George (St. George Green Chile Vodka, Aperol, Fresh Lemon Juice, Orange Bitters) and The Real Killer (SOLA Private Barrel El Tesoro Reposado Tequila, Dry Curacao Triple Sec Liquor, Fresh Lime Juice, Agave, Fresh Kiwi).
