“There may be a possibility that we get to develop Livermore in the very near future. We have a fifteen-store development agreement with them. We are looking for real estate,” Bhasin tells What Now San Francisco in a recent email exchange.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the restaurateur, the Slice House website offers a brief introduction: “Bay Area native Tony Gemignani is a 13-time World Pizza Champion and renowned San Francisco restaurateur. Inspired by his mother’s lessons on cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients from their family farm, Tony has crafted a philosophy centered around authentic craftsmanship and carefully chosen ingredients.”

The statement continues, “Tony’s flagship restaurant, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, along with Capo’s, Slice House, Toscano Brothers Bakery, and Giovanni’s Italian Specialties, are deeply rooted in San Francisco’s historic Italian neighborhood. His passion for perfecting pizza has led to numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of World Champion Pizza Maker in Naples, Italy.”

On the menu, locals can expect 12″ New York-style, Detroit-style, and Sicilian-style pizza, pasta options — think Gemelli with vodka cream and bucatini with meat sauce — salad, and desserts such as cannolis, rainbow cake, and chocolate chip cookies.

Stay tuned for updates.
