According to the burger chain’s website, “Slater 50/50 was founded in 2009 in Anaheim Hills, California by Scott Slater, a SoCal native with a passion for burgers, bacon, and craft beer.” The eatery is known for its 50/50 patty, which is made of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef. In addition to burgers, cocktails, and beer on tap, the menu contains “starters, loaded flatbreads, sexy salads, killer pastas, sandwiches,” and “amped-up milkshakes.”

Hoodline reports, “Slater 50/50 at Oakridge will have seating for 170 customers and will feature 40 beers, hard ciders, and hard kombuchas on tap.”

The upcoming San Jose spot will mark Slater 50/50’s sixth California location, with four in SoCal and one in Fresno. Outside of California, the chain also has an outpost in Denver, one in Hawaii, and two in the Vegas area.
