The hotpot restaurant is currently located at 7419 Laguna Boulevard in Elk Grove. It’s unclear whether the restaurant is moving or opening a second space, but applications to become a franchisee are available on the restaurant’s website.

The eatery’s name comes from a type of hotpot dish, shabu-shabu, made of boiled sliced meat and vegetables served with dipping sauces. Known for hotpot made with the “freshest ingredients possible,” the Shabu Shack menu allows customers to build their own pots, choosing the type of broth and entree served over either rice or noodles.

An opening date has not yet been announced, and What Now San Francisco was unable to speak to a company representative by publication.
