Founded 11 years ago by childhood friends Evan Kidera and Gil Payumo, this will mark the duo’s third brick-and-mortar location following the success of their Mission and Oakland locations. This is a special milestone for the owners as Bay Area natives, being able to put down roots under the iconic clocktower among the ranks of other well-loved local vendors.

SEÑOR SISIG will continue to offer its sisig classics at its Ferry Building location, with the addition of a vegan chicken sisig option sourced from Oakland’s Layonna Vegetarian, as well as the choice to make any item completely vegan with plant-based cheeses, sour cream, and sauces. Chef Payumo also developed dishes exclusive to the Ferry Building, including a sisig torta and bite-sized churros painted with purple ube-macapuno sauce.

This will be the first SEÑOR SISIG location to feature a curated cocktail menu, which will stay true to the brand using both Filipino and Mexican flavors that pair expertly with the special menu and classics. Beverage options include an alcohol-spiked version of their ube horchata and the Señorita, a margarita featuring Datu Puti vinegar, Nixta Licor de Elote, and tamarind.

SEÑOR SISIG has collaborated with nearby merchant Humphry Slocombe to create an exclusive SEÑOR SISIG-inspired “Churron” flavor, which will include Turon, a popular Filipino sweet snack, with churro chunks. They’ve also teamed up with Ferry Building favorite, Acme Bread, to bring a pork torta and churros to the menu, and are looking to revive their partnership with empanada king Joseph Ahearne of El Porteño.

The space includes an outdoor patio with bay views and an interior dining space with 40 total seats, and will display artwork from local artists the team has worked with in the past, such as Jeremy Fish.

SEÑOR SISIG is located in the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace; Suite 41.

Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday from 10am – 8pm, Saturday from 9am-8pm, and Sunday from 9am-6pm.
