A pending beer and wine license found in state public records indicates that Scratch Cookery is taking over the former Tangerine Hookah Bar at 30 Fountain Alley in downtown San Jose. Owner Khanh Vu has confirmed these plans with What Now San Francisco, adding that they hope to open by early March. A formal announcement from Scratch Cookery is to follow in the coming weeks.
Scratch Cookery has been a fleeting fixture at plenty of breweries and night markets throughout the Bay Area.
