According to the San Francisco Business Times, North Beach’s Ristorante Ideale has changed hands.

“Co-owners Maurizio and Shanna Bruschi have sold the award-winning 31-year-old eatery at 1309 Grant Avenue to two longtime employees, Paolo Fraschetti and Fabio Cinelli, for an undisclosed price,” the Journal reports.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Ristorante Ideale, the Italian concept was founded in 1993 and became San Francisco’s 400th legacy business earlier this year. The restaurant has entertained San Francisco film directors such as Francis Ford Coppola, George Lucas, and Philip Kaufman.

Its Grant Avenue spot is neighbor to establishments such as the Italian restaurant Capo’s, Mo’s Grill, and The Stinking Rose.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Fraschetti to inquire about his plans for the eatery, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
