Owner Renee Barton confirmed in a phone call with What Now San Francisco that Redwood Grill’s second location is scheduled to open in late spring. Aside from the aforementioned liquor license process, the restaurant still needs to be built out, taking over the space that was formerly Bell Tower Cafe.
Redwood Grill is known for serving California-style comfort foods, putting their own fresh twist on items like Fried Chicken, Tacos, St. Louis Ribs, Salads, Burgers, Pizzas and more. The second location will have the same menu, plus some custom items specific to Los Altos developed with the expertise of Executive Chef Johnny Arreola.
The second location will also feature both indoor and outdoor dining space, which will be perfect for accommodating guests throughout ever-changing mandates during the pandemic. Barton is grateful that their restaurant has made it through these past couple years and that they’re able to open a second location.
“We really owe it to the neighborhood. We’ve seen a massive outpouring of support from our community and if it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be able to do this,” she says. Barton and her husband are both from the Bay Area, the latter having grown up in Los Altos, and they’re happy to show their love to the Bay with Redwood Grill.
