Rapid Fired Pizza is coming to San Jose at 361 North Capitol Avenue, taking over Suite 20 that used to be a T-Mobile store. Owner Sunil Sehgal confirms that in addition to the liquor license they just filed for, there are quite a few permits that are still in the works, so opening may not happen until early 2022.

The Ohio-based franchise is known for creating made-to-order personal size pizzas in just 180 seconds or less. Using fresh ingredients, they offer over 35 different toppings and 12 kinds of sauces. They also serve calzones, pasta, breadsticks, dessert, wine, and beer.

Ray Wiley founded Rapid Fired Pizza in 2015 and since then has expanded its reach across six states throughout the Midwest and the South. On October 22, it was announced that Wiley sold the company to Mike Kern and Chip Hurst, who operate under Pie Guys LLC and own three Rapid Fired Pizza locations in South Carolina.

With streamlined operations, clear-cut training methods, and a transparent focus on economics, franchise owners are given a recipe for success under the brand’s new ownership. Rapid Fired Pizza is clearly in a position to cover more ground across the U.S. and based on this particular news out of San Jose, it’s apparent that the company is already getting started.
