According to a recently submitted permit application, a new boba tea cafe is gearing up to open in Berkeley.
Coming to 1343 Martin Luther King Jr Way, the business — listed as One Milk Tea Berkeley — will land just down the street from eateries such as Cafenated Coffee Company, Chez Panisse, and Peet’s Coffe.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Andrew Liu, but additional information could not be gathered before the time of publication.
Nevertheless, drawing from the business’s name, the concept will likely offer boba tea, or bubble tea, a tea-based beverage originally from Taiwan.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
