Marina RAD Inc. is creating a new upscale lounge to take over the former Reed & Greenough space at 3251 Scott St. between the Marina and Cow Hollow, according to ABC and entertainment referrals recently filed with the city. Owners Ali Razavi and his wife, who also own and operate the 500 Club at the Mission, are the minds behind Marina RAD Inc.

Razavi confirms that the new lounge, which is yet to be named, is scheduled to debut around February or March of next year. While much of their exact plans are under wraps, Razavi divulged that there would be a mixture of drink options and live music, from jazz to blues.

He was excited to say that they plan to have table service at the new lounge, “which is not something you can find at a lot of places these days.” Until then, they are working on small touches to give the space a new feel separate from its predecessors. While many patrons were anxious to see Reed & Greenough return, we can only hope that they will welcome Marina RAD Inc. when the time comes.

Correction: An earlier version of this article implied that “Marina Rad” was the name of the new lounge. Marina RAD Inc. is the entity taking over the space and they’ve clarified that they do not have a new name for the lounge as of this publication.
