According to a recent press release, Elevate Gourmet Brands has begun the build-out of a new restaurant concept, Mac+ Cheese Kitchen, at Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport Terminal B. The restaurant group also plans to introduce a second location at San Francisco Internal Aiport Terminal 3 in the summer of 2023.

The official website describes Mac + Cheese Kitchen as an airport restaurant where patrons have the opportunity to customize their macaroni and cheese-filled skillets. Options include white or cheddar cheese sauce, meats like grilled chicken, smoked bacon, or BBQ pulled pork, and a variety of add-ons. In addition to mac and cheese, the eatery also offers a kids’ menu, grilled macaroni and cheese sandwiches, a breakfast menu, salad options, and desserts. The drink menu boasts local craft beer, craft cocktails, and wine.

Brian LaliberteCEO of Elevate Gourmet Brands, shares that the Mac + Cheese Kitchen team intends to “tweak the menu for each restaurant location based on regional tastes and the availability of high-quality ingredients.”
