Luke’s Local filed a plan permit for 580 Green St., which already operates at two other locations in San Francisco —  at Cole Street and Union Street.

The grocery store is well-known for its same-day delivery service and offers fresh produce at its stores. They also offer prepared foods, deli/butcher, dairy, specialty cheese, beer/wine/spirits, and frozen foods.

“A big part of the creative process of cooking starts at the market – talking to the butcher, finding the perfect avocado, smelling the fresh cut flowers.  We believe the future of urban grocery shopping is a combination of both the in-person sensorial experience combined with the flexibility of delivery within a few hours,” says their website.

The new place will sell flowers and produce and will also have an outdoor seating area where customers can sit and enjoy sandwiches and snacks from the deli. Representatives for Luke’s Local could not be reached for comment.
