We all know that Singapore’s oldest cafe has been working on expanding and with the success of their first U.S. location in Palo Alto, the rest of the Bay Area has waited with bated breath to know when their closest Killiney Kopitiam will open. Luckily, we now have an answer – for South Bay, at least.
Owner Amanda Toh Steckler, who has been overseeing Killiney’s U.S. expansion, has confirmed with What Now San Francisco that the location at Westfield Valley Fair is scheduled to open this summer. Finally, Santa Clara folks will soon be sipping on delicious Kopi and Teh that you can only find at a place like Killiney Kopitiam.
Steckler adds that they plan to serve most of the same menu that is at the Palo Alto location, but there is a possibility of some new additions. Those, of course, are up to Bay Area Chef Nora Haron, who has been enlisted to help develop Killiney’s menu of traditional and inspired Singaporean dishes.
In addition to their classic coffee and tea offerings, Killiney has a variety of delectable Singaporean fare such as Laksa, Garlic Noodles, Chicken Rice, Nasi Lemak, and more. With a menu like this, Westfield Valley Fair’s robust lineup of Asian cuisine is certainly becoming a foodie haven.
