Esposto’s Delicatezza is going to open a second location in South San Francisco in the very near future. The restaurant will be at 701 Gateway Blvd., where a pending beer and wine license is awaiting approval from the city.
Esposto’s is a popular weekday lunch spot around UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay, where satisfying eats like the Mission Bay Sandwich and San Franciscan Salad are what keep regulars returning throughout the week. The business park restaurant offers online ordering and pick-up options which makes it extra convenient for particularly busy workdays.
The family-owned operation has been in business since 1958. For over 60 years, they’ve offered full service catering across the Bay Area accommodating any size function from weddings to corporate lunches. According to their social media pages, they’ve been working on opening this South City location since the start of the year.
Given that their business on Gateway Boulevard has already been set up on Google, it’s likely that their opening is right around the corner and may be dependent on how soon the ABC license gets approved. Representatives for Esposto’s Delicatezza could not be reached for comment.
