They have filed for a liquor license at 412 22nd St. in Oakland. The popular pie caterer has hosted pop-ups in various events and cities including Los Angeles and New York.

They serve sweet and savory pies and quiches with flavors such as key lime, honey ginger, coconut cream, broccoli quiche, chicken pot pie, and more.

Edith’s was founded by Mike Raskin and inspired by his mother. “Through my whole life, she was well known amongst friends and family as the pie queen. A high school cooking teacher in a past life, she had me making pies with her at a young age. It felt nothing short of mandatory for her name to grace our box,” said Raskin on their website.

Raskin, along with partner Jeffrey Wright, might soon take Edith’s to a permanent brick-and-mortar location.
